Physiotherapist
Luke Lee is a physiotherapist who graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, with a degree in physiotherapy. He also studied kinesiology at the University of British Columbia, and is a Registered Physiotherapist in the UK as a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom.
Luke has worked at Manchester Children’s Hospital, and a variety of other settings, including a fast-paced physiotherapy clinic in Vancouver, community healthcare, and care homes. He is experienced in treating ICBC/WCB cases including chronic pain, motor vehicle injuries, post-operative rehab, and work-related injuries.
Since a young age, Luke was engaged in competitive sports and had many debilitating injuries including a complete tear in his ACL, surrounding ligaments, and meniscus while playing on the varsity badminton team. He understands the pain, mental suffering, and recovery process from a patient perspective.
Within his Vancouver physio practice, Luke is passionate about tailoring treatment plans using a holistic approach to meet his patients’ needs; this method utilizes manual therapy, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, clinical pilates, intramuscular stimulation, and exercise prescription.
Luke enjoys competing in badminton, ice hockey, and swimming in his spare time. He also enjoys writing music, and playing piano for church.
