Michael Lee

Physiotherapist

Michael is an Australian-trained physiotherapist dedicated to helping individuals recover, move better and perform at their best. He earned his Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Waterloo. Before becoming a physiotherapist, he practiced as a kinesiologist, which gave him a strong foundation in exercise-based rehabilitation. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, further enhancing his ability to bridge the gap between rehab and performance.

With experience as both a clinician and an athlete, Michael understands the journey from injury to performance. Having been involved in sports such as powerlifting, badminton, golf, football, wrestling, and hockey—and having undergone ACL reconstruction himself—he developed a deep appreciation for the rehabilitation process and the resilience it builds.

Michael is passionate about health and performance, and about staying up to date with the latest evidence on best practices and approaches. He has worked extensively with clients across the lifespan — supporting recovery from injury, optimizing movement and promoting long-term health. His approach is active, collaborative, and patient-centred.

Outside of the clinic, Michael continues to train, coach, and compete in powerlifting, plays badminton & golf recreationally, experiments in the kitchen, and captures life through his camera lens.
