In Person Sessions
WHAT IS SHOCKWAVE THERAPY?
Chronic pain and inflammation caused by issues in the bone, tendon and soft tissue can be challenging to live with. Extracorporeal shockwave therapy is an effective treatment for lingering injuries and pain resulting from illness. This non-invasive treatment applies a series of low-energy sound pressure waves to mechanically stimulate the body's natural healing process.
It is performed in combination with other physiotherapy treatments, and results in immediate and long-lasting pain-relief and reduced inflammation caused by chronic conditions, helping patients to resume their regular activities.
IS SHOCKWAVE THERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?
Focused shock wave therapy is a highly effective treatment option for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and soft tissues injuries experiencing chronic pain.
Benefits of shockwave therapy include:
• Immediate and long-lasting pain-relief
• Reduced inflammation and discomfort
• Accelerate healing
• Restored mobility
• Decreased calcification found in tendons/soft-tissues post injury or surgery
• Scar breakdown/mobilization
